A mini break has been arranged to see the Thursford Christmas Spectacular in Norfolk. We will leave the West Base Viscount Way (exact time to be confirmed) to go to Thursford.. The performance starts at 1400. Thursford has an annual audience of 130,000 and seats 1,475 at each performance. Held amongst the impressive collection of steam engines and organs the 130 professional singers, dancers and musicians make full use of the 130 foot wide stage and 2,000 costumes to deliver an eclectic fusion of the seasonal and sacred from famous chart topping pop favourites to traditional carols. With a £3 million budget, the three hour show really is non stop entertainment. About 50 coaches a day make the journey to Fakenham. Deluxe seats have been booked.. After the show we will make our way to the De Vere Dunston Hall Hotel, Norwich. an Elizabethan Style mansion and is a four star hotel. The hotel was built in 1895 and is set in 150 acres. The hotel has a swimming pool and spa for those sporty people who wish to use this facility which is included. The evening meal is a 3-course buffet dinner to include tea/coffee, after which you can relax in the bar. After a full English breakfast the following morning we will leave for Norwich where you will be free until leaving for home at approx1530 (time to be confirmed). The total cost to include coach from West Base (with free parking) to Thursford, entry to the show in the best seats, bed, breakfast and accommodation in the De Vere Dunston Hall, excursion to Norwich, will be £149.50 for members and £155.00 for non members. Unfortunately there is a single supplement of £25 per person for the duration but there is limited availability for a single room these do go very quickly. Holiday insurance if you wish this will be £20 per person for the duration. If you would like to go we require a deposit of £25 per person to register interest.
