PENSIONER CONTACT SCHEME (PCS)

Can you help?  Run by volunteers ( retirees, like you ), overseen by the Liaison Council and materially assisted by BA Pensions, the PCS is for all Pensioners.  You may feel that you do not need assistance now, but you may need it later on in life and others do need it now.  The PCS can only thrive if we have new blood to fill in the gaps in our coverage and to replace some who have been doing it for many years – over 18 in some cases.  Without sufficient volunteers the PCS will wither and die.

Brief details of the ‘duties’ of Coordinators and Contacts may be found under Handbook (Short) at “http:\\bappc.com\”.  The only qualification not mentioned is the requirement to have access to email since the system is electronically based.

All that is needed is commonsense and an enthusiasm to help others on an infrequent basis.  If you wish to make it into a social organisation as some have done, that is the individual PC’s choice, but it is not a requirement.
